Alpha Chi

A national coed honor society, Alpha Chi translates to truth and character and promotes those same attributes among undergrads. Barry admits no more than the highest 10 percent of graduates.

Alpha Chi membership recognizes demonstrable scholarship and character.

Who should apply: Seniors graduating in the semester of application

  1. Election to Alpha Chi requires a minimum 3.7 cumulative GPA in credits earned at Barry and ranking in the highest 10% of the graduating class.
  2. Applicants must have a minimum of 45 Barry University credits completed at the time of application, 39 of these must be classroom credits.

Election to an honor society at Barry University is a privilege, not a right. It is the responsibility of a student applying for membership to an honor society to mention, document, and explain his/her qualifications for membership. Deadlines are strictly enforced.
