Office of Mission Integration and Institutional Belonging

The Office of Mission Integration and Institutional Belonging advances Barry University’s mission and core commitments by cultivating an inclusive culture where all are welcomed, valued, and empowered. We embrace differences, promote mutual respect and care, and expand the intellectual commons through dialogue rooted in the Dominican intellectual tradition. By integrating diverse ways of knowing and the wisdom of all communities, we foster a shared pursuit of truth and a sense of belonging that strengthens our common purpose.

We build community by creating learning environments where faculty, staff, and students can thrive. Our work provides pathways to live out Barry’s mission and engage the Core Commitments: Knowledge and Truth, Inclusive Community, Social Justice, and Collaborative Service. At the heart of what we do is the belief that authentic belonging is essential to the flourishing of our university community and to the search for truth.
