Dialogue is central to Barry University’s Dominican mission and intellectual tradition.
Grounded in the commitment to veritas (truth), dialogue serves as a mission-centered practice for building understanding across difference and cultivating inclusive communities where all individuals are valued. At Barry, dialogue is an intentional way of engaging diverse perspectives through critical inquiry, reflection, and mutual respect. As a pedagogical approach used across classrooms, co-curricular spaces, and community life, dialogue strengthens relationships and fosters a shared sense of belonging throughout the University.
