Biography

Visiting Assistant Professor Lefkowitz teaches Legal Research and Writing and previously taught Trial Advocacy. Her teaching experience also includes Business Law at Full Sail University.

Professor Lefkowitz has held a variety of roles at Barry University School of Law, demonstrating her passion for working with students. She has served as Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Assistant Dean of Academic Programs & Strategic Initiatives, in addition to holding positions in Career Services and Student Life.

Prior to working in legal education, Professor Lefkowitz practiced law for approximately ten years as a litigator at both large and small firms. She is a member of the Florida Bar and earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law and her Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida, with a dual degree in Finance and Management.
