Biography

Dr. Carla White brings 40 years of nursing experience, including 24 years in nurse anesthesia, to every patient, classroom, and professional relationship. With extensive experience in cardiac anesthesia and the management of high acuity patients, she is recognized for her clinical expertise, thoughtful mentorship, and dedication to excellence. A 2002 graduate of the University of New England School of Nurse Anesthesia, Dr. White is also a Barry Proud 2021 graduate of Barry University's post Master's DNP program.

As an Assistant Professor of Nurse Anesthesiology at Barry University,  Dr. White is passionate about preparing the next generation of CRNAs, blending real-world experience with evidence-based education to inspire confident, compassionate clinicians.

Whether in the operating room or the classroom, Dr. White believes that the greatest measure of success is helping others grow. Her legacy is defined not only by the patients she has cared for, but by the clinicians she has inspired and the profession she continues to elevate.
