Biography

Professor O'Gorman practiced labor and employment law on behalf of management for over eleven years and was a partner at the law firm of Ford Harrison LLP, a national law firm specializing in labor and employment law. He has been included in The Best Lawyers in America, was recognized by Orlando magazine as one of "Orlando's Best Lawyers," and is AV® Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Professor O’Gorman’s scholarship focuses on contract law, and he has published twenty law-journal articles. He has also self-published a casebook on contracts and a casebook on Florida contract law. During his eleven years at Barry, he has won a Professor of the Year award nine times. During his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with his four cats and fostering kittens for a local animal shelter.
