Biography
Dr. Crosby joined Barry University in 2026 as Associate Professor of Systematic Theology. She previously served as Associate Professor of Religious Studies and Assistant Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences at Siena Heights University in Adrian, MI.
Crosby completed her Ph.D. in Integrative Studies in Ethics and Theology at Loyola University Chicago in 2017. Her dissertation analyzed the doctrine of providence in light of the critique of ontotheology raised by continental philosophy of religion. Her research and teaching focuses on contemporary systematic theology, feminist and liberation theologies, and continental philosophy of religion. Her writing and courses often incorporate art, poetry, film, and other forms of human expression in addition to philosophical and theological texts.
