Cristo Rey Scholarship

Your Cristo Rey Corporate Work Study experience has given you something valuable: real-world experience, a strong work ethic and the ability to balance work and school. At Barry University, that experience matters. Eligible students may receive a financial aid package covering up to 85% of direct costs*.

Applications open October 1. Apply by March 15.

*The Cristo Rey Scholarship is combined with eligible Barry scholarships and federal and state financial aid. Award amounts vary based on individual eligibility.

You must:

1. Graduate from a participating Cristo Rey Network school
2. Be admitted to Barry University
3. Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
4. Submit the FAFSA
5. Apply for the Cristo Rey Scholarship through your myBarry portal by March 15

• Resume: Show us your academic, work, leadership, service and extracurricular experience.
• FAFSA: Submit the FAFSA to be considered for federal and other need-based financial aid.
• 300-word response: Tell us about one lesson from your Cristo Rey Corporate Work Study placement and how it will help you succeed in college and your career.
• GPA: A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required.
