It is a pleasure to share the spring edition of Barry Magazine with all of you. As we embark on a new era of higher education, I spend much of my time thinking about our exciting future and charting our path forward. Toward that end, we are well into the process of producing a strategic plan for Barry University. As part of this effort, we have engaged our campus community, trustees, and alumni to formulate a clear vision for the future.
Guided by our Dominican values, our vision calls us to advance our national recognition by offering students access, opportunity, and broad-based support in their pursuit of academic achievement and personal growth leading to professional success. As an agile, resilient, and innovative institution, Barry will deliver undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs that emphasize experiential learning to meet student needs, respond to market conditions, and address critical societal challenges.
Our strategic plan is being built around four pillars: Recruitment and Enrollment, Student Success and Engagement, Academic Excellence, and Revenue and Resource Development. We look forward to sharing it with all of you this summer.
Every day, I am inspired by the vitality and eagerness of our students, and the expertise and passion displayed by our faculty and staff as they teach them.
