On March 31st, 2025, Barry University celebrated Eid al-Fitr, marking the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan, through welcoming community gatherings that honored Muslim traditions and fostered interfaith understanding. Hosted by the Muslim Student Association and co-sponsored by campus partners, the celebrations brought together students, faculty, and staff for reflection, learning, and joyful connection.
Participants shared a traditional Halal meal while engaging in conversations about the spiritual and cultural significance of Eid. These celebrations created space for gratitude, unity, and cultural appreciation. Building on the success of these celebrations, the university continues to strengthen inclusive religious and cultural observances on campus.
