Biology Scholarships

The following scholarships honor the memory of two trailblazing Adrian Dominican Sisters who dedicated their lives to the mission of the university and to educating generations of aspiring biologists, medical professionals, and biology educators.

The Sister Agnes L. Stechschulte Endowed Biology Scholarship

Sister Agnes L. Stechschulte

This scholarship was established in recognition of Sister Agnes Stechschulte’s 32 years as an educator at Barry University.  Her dedication to higher education in the natural sciences and depth and breadth of knowledge made it possible for her to teach an extensive repertoire of biology courses during her time on the faculty. This scholarship honors her legacy of curiosity, zest for learning and just as importantly, her mission of sharing that knowledge.
