Applicable Core Areas
The BS. BIOP degree requires a minimum of 40 required credits and at least one course from each of the following core areas: Growth/Development, Cellular/Molecular Biology, Physiological/Biochemical Principles, Environmental Biology, and Biological Theory.
Specific admissions requirements for postgraduate schools vary. Faculty and advisors will work with you to ensure you meet the requirements for the postgraduate school of your choice.
The Bachelor of Science in Biology Pre-Professional degree program encompasses Pre-Medical, Pre-Dental, Pre-Graduate (Masters/Ph.D.), Pre-Veterinary, Pre-Optometry, Pre-Pharmacy, Pre-Podiatry programs.
In addition to required courses, Barry’s Pre-Professional degree program offers a variety of elective courses, including Human Nutrition, Neurobiology, Parasitology, Biochemistry, Epidemiology, Histology, Embryology and Immunology.
