The Monsignor William Barry Memorial Library is located in the center of the beautiful Miami Shores campus of Barry University. The Library is named in loving memory of Monsignor William Barry, one of the founders of Barry University and an inspirational figure in the Catholic Church within the Archdiocese of Miami. The extensive Library research collections include more than 950,000 physical items, over 40,000 print and on-line journal subscriptions, and several thousand on-line books and streaming video resources.

We are an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Sunshine State Conference with 12 varsity teams, including men's baseball, basketball, golf, soccer and tennis; and women's basketball, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. So far, we've won 24 NCAA championships, had 338 All-Americans, 413 Scholar All-Americans, and nine NCAA "Women of the Year" finalists, the most of any Division II school. Healthcare employers across Florida seek Barry University’s BSN graduates because of the program’s reputation of producing quality nurses.
Barry’s Traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is a full-time, upper-level program designed for students who have completed all prerequisites and successfully passed the ATI TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) entrance exam.
Once admitted, students may begin the program in either the spring or fall semester.
At Barry, more than 90% of our students receive some form of financial aid. From scholarships and grants to work-study and flexible payment plans, we’ll help you build a financial plan that works for you.
Each Spring and Fall Semester, 30 nursing students have the potential to be awarded this scholarship while enrolled at Barry University.
This scholarship award is dependent upon acceptance into the nursing program and acceptance into the Baptist Health Scholars program.

Upon successful completion of all nursing program requirements, graduates are eligible to apply for and take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
Successful completion of the NCLEX-RN is required for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and allows graduates to begin professional nursing practice in a wide range of healthcare settings.
The School of Nursing maintains accreditation for its undergraduate (BSN), master's (MSN), post-graduate certificates (ARNP), and doctoral (DNP) nursing programs through the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
