Biography
Dr. Claire Egret joined the Barry University faculty in 2007 and currently serves as an Associate Professor of Sport & Exercise Sciences. She earned her Ph.D. in Biomechanics and Physiology of Movement from the University of Rouen, France. Dr. Egret began her academic career as a Lecturer at the University of Rouen, thereafter serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Arras, and later as a Visiting Professor at Jacksonville State University, prior to her appointment at Barry University.
Her research focuses on biomechanics and nutrition, with an emphasis on promoting health, performance, and longevity.
Beyond her academic work, Dr. Egret maintains an active lifestyle through golf and values spending quality time with her husband and their two children, Eden and Neil.
