Biography
Mirko Ronchi is an Instructor of Sport Management at Barry University, where he brings more than 10 years of industry experience and an entrepreneurial mindset to the classroom. Before joining Barry full-time, he founded multiple startups in the sport industry and remains active today in the sport finance world,
giving him firsthand experience with the practical, revenue-driving side of the business.
Professor Ronchi holds three master’s degrees — in Sport Exercise and Performance Psychology, Sport Management, and an MBA in Finance — a combination that grounds his teaching in both the human and business sides of sport. At Barry, he teaches courses spanning Sport Finance and Research Methods, building each course’s materials around current, real-world case studies so students engage with the sport industry as it exists today rather than through outdated textbook examples.
