Biography

Mona Mandall holds an MFA from Pratt Institute and a BFA from Stony Brook University. She began teaching at the collegiate level in 2001 and currently teaches at Barry University.

Mandall has taught a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses, including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, two-dimensional design, color theory, and studio art. Her primary area of specialization is printmaking, while her artistic practice extends across multiple media.

Her work has been exhibited in museums in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach, as well as in regional galleries. She has received national recognition through Pastel Journal, where she was awarded first place in the publication’s annual competition in the Wildlife category.

In addition to her academic and fine art practice, Mandall has completed commercial illustration projects with South Beach Grafix and has designed logos for numerous local businesses.
