Biography

Professor Tara Andryshak joined Barry University School of Law as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Law in the Summer of 2026, where she focuses on first-year and pre-1L academic success. She created and directs the Barry Advantage Program, an academic success initiative for all first-year students.

Prior to joining Barry, Tara Andryshak served as Associate Director of Academic and Bar Success at Syracuse University College of Law, where she developed and taught programs focused on law school and bar exam preparation. She also served as an Adjunct Professor where she taught Foundational Skills for Law School Success, a course she designed for second-year students.

Tara Andryshak is actively engaged in the academic support community and has presented nationally on topics related to student success. In 2026, she presented at the Association for Academic Support Educators Conference on strategies for using student reflection to promote greater independence. She also was an inaugural member of the AccessLex Building Bar Skills Initiative, where she also served as a panelist at LexCon ‘23 to present on her findings.

Tara Andryshak earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law and her B.A. in History, magna cum laude, from Binghamton University, State University of New York. She is admitted to practice law in Arizona.
