The Monsignor William Barry Memorial Library is located in the center of the beautiful Miami Shores campus of Barry University. The Library is named in loving memory of Monsignor William Barry, one of the founders of Barry University and an inspirational figure in the Catholic Church within the Archdiocese of Miami. The extensive Library research collections include more than 950,000 physical items, over 40,000 print and on-line journal subscriptions, and several thousand on-line books and streaming video resources.

We are an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Sunshine State Conference with 12 varsity teams, including men's baseball, basketball, golf, soccer and tennis; and women's basketball, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. So far, we've won 24 NCAA championships, had 338 All-Americans, 413 Scholar All-Americans, and nine NCAA "Women of the Year" finalists, the most of any Division II school. Not bad at all, but we're going for more.

The number of awards is limited so legacy students are encouraged to apply to Barry University and after being accepted, complete the Tuition Discount application as early as possible. Eligible applicants are awarded the Legacy Grant on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Award Amount: Full tuition, room and board, books, and travel over four years, plus an additional $6,000 award for study abroad or other extraordinary learning experience.

Award Amount: In addition to merit scholarships and financial aid, a scholarship will be awarded annually to cover the remaining tuition balance.
Eligibility: Open to all applicants admitted to the University as a full-time student in the College of Arts and Sciences in the Bachelors of Science in Education program regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, citizenship, disability, age, or veteran status. Must have graduated from a public high school in Miami-Dade or Broward counties and provide documentation of having completed a minimum of 75 service hours during high school.
GPA Required: 3.0 or higher
Application Process: Submit documentation of service hours and essay to greenescholarship@barry.edu. Scholarship committee will verify your admission status, high school GPA, and financial need with the Office of Recruitment and Admissions.
