Study Abroad

Explore the World and Grow Through Experience

Studying abroad is more than traveling. It is an opportunity to expand your horizons, immerse yourself in new cultures, and grow through meaningful academic and personal experiences. Whether you choose a semester program through consortiums, a faculty-led program, or one of our partner universities, each path is designed to help you gain knowledge, reflect on your experiences, and return with a broader perspective of the world and your place in it.

To participate in study abroad opportunities, students are required to schedule, attend a meeting, and get approval with the Study Abroad Office under CEL. Applications to programs should not be submitted independently.

"From freshman orientation, I dreamed of studying abroad. Going to London in my sophomore fall was that leap. Barry’s Study Abroad Office made the process seamless. Despite the freezing cold, especially coming from Florida, I embraced new friendships, West End shows, Borough Market, Tower Bridge, and class trips to Shakespeare’s Globe and Chelsea FC. Even when I got lost on the Tube with a dying phone, I persevered. This experience built my resilience and confidence. Say yes to opportunities and discover your true self abroad!"

"My month in Costa Rica during my junior year was transformative. Spanish and entrepreneurship classes blended practical skills with global thinking, while ziplining, visiting hot springs, and participating in field trips helped build lasting connections. It gave me the confidence to teach abroad in China after graduation. Barry’s program sparked my fearless spirit. Explore your horizons!"

"The summer of my sophomore year, I spent two weeks in the Fanjeaux Pilgrimage Program in France, partnered with Molloy University, and it was incredible. We explored Catholic school history, Barry’s sister institutions, and French culture, while also connecting with students from across the country. I learned so much about our founders and highly recommend it to everyone!"

"Studying abroad in Greece during my sophomore year last fall was life changing. Meeting people from around the world opened my eyes, while classes and travels to Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic enriched me both academically and personally. Barry’s program broadened my global perspective, and it is absolutely worth it. Reach out to Career and Experiential Learning if you have any questions!"
