The March installment of Seminar Series: Transforming Lives Through Scholarship’s features a free lunch and presentation by Dr. Zuzana Zajickova titled “Fulbright Scholarship: Cultural and Research Immersion in Czech Republic.” The series introduces Dr. Mike Allen to the scholarly and creative activities of our faculty.
Dr. Zajickova’s presentation will focus on her experience as a Fulbright Scholar in the Czech Republic at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Charles University, Hradec Kralove. She will discuss science discovery, strengthening collaborations with the international science community, and enriching academic content with gained knowledge and skills. She will also share about the Fulbright application process, the benefits of cultural immersion, beautiful mentorships and friendships she found through the program, and about creating excitement for science in the international community.
The event will include a light lunch and discussion. Dr. Allen will be in attendance.
