Dear Barry University Community,
It is a pleasure to announce today that we plan to celebrate Spring 2021 commencement in-person at Marlins Park on May 10, 2021 at 10am.
This ceremony will also honor our May and December 2020 graduates and we very much look forward to welcoming them back to mark this milestone.
Graduation is a special time for our University community and I am thrilled that, pandemic conditions permitting, we will again send forth our graduates into the world during an in-person ceremony full of energy and the visible excitement at all that lies ahead with their Barry degree.
Because of physical distancing requirements, in-person attendance will be limited to graduates, their ticketed guests, and faculty, staff and Trustees participating in in the ceremony. However, we will also be streaming the event live and I encourage our full community to join us in marking this very special occasion. The commencement website will be updated with new information as it becomes available.
Graduates will be receiving a separate message today with additional detail and specifics regarding RSVPing for the ceremony.
The past year brought tremendous challenges and it is the perseverance of our students, faculty and staff that has enabled us to get to this day. We all look forward to the celebration.
