Graduation is a very special time for our University community. All are invited and encouraged to virtually join in the upcoming events, beginning Friday evening, as we honor and celebrate the achievements of our main campus graduates! All events will stream live, with information on how to watch below:

Baccalaureate Mass & Rose and Candle Ceremony, Friday, May 7, 2021, at 6:00 pm

The Baccalaureate Mass is a celebration of graduation and the Rose and Candle Ceremony symbolizes the bonds of friendship and the sending forth of the graduates. Graduates exchange a candle, the symbol of wisdom and knowledge, with a Barry student of their choice. In return, graduates receive a rose as a symbol of love and friendship. The event will stream live on Facebook.

Doctoral Hooding Ceremony, Saturday, May 8, 2021, at 10:00 am

During a small ceremony, we will hood our graduates who have earned the highest credential in their field. The event will stream live on Facebook.

Commencement, Monday, May 10, 2021, at 10:00 am

Our commencement theme is “Honoring Resiliency and Community Heroes” and we will celebrate our Spring 2021 and our 2020 graduates with an inspiring commencement speaker, as well as several community leaders. Watch live at: barry.edu/live.
