About the Event

Join musician Cesar Jofre and his ECOS ensemble for a musical presentation encompassing melodies from several Latin American countries. ECOS, the Spanish word for echoes, does just as its name implies, echoing the large variety of musical styles from the native lands of its members. Listeners will hear the band’s heritage coming through in the styles of flamenco, Caribbean folk music, and classic rock. Jofre will also share the stories behind the music and the origins of each genre, making ECOS both a pleasure for the senses and an educational experience.
