Travel to Historic Virginia Key Beach Park to contribute to ecological restoration projects at one of the most beautiful coastlines in Miami and the only beach available to People of Color during Miami’s era of segregation. Participants will remove non-native, invasive plants that damage the local ecosystem. A light breakfast, snacks, and transportation are provided.
