Hurricane Isaias Update #3

The Command Decision Team (CDT) continues to monitor Hurricane Isaias, currently a category 1 with maximum sustained winds of 75 mph. A hurricane warning is in effect for the Bahamas, with hurricane conditions and dangerous storm surge expected in portions of the Bahamas today. All classes in the Bahamas are suspended today, July 31st and tomorrow, Saturday, August 1st.

A Hurricane Watch has been issued for the Florida east coast from Deerfield Beach north to the Volusia-Brevard County line. A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for other parts of the Florida east coast. The watch extends from Monroe County to Indian River County.
