Baynanza 2013

CCSI invites students, faculty, staff, and their families to participate in Baynanza 2013 in celebration of Earth Day.

Date: Saturday, April 20, 2013
Time: 9 a.m. – noon

Baynanza is an action-packed community-wide celebration of environmental awareness and stewardship culminating in the Biscayne Bay Cleanup Day, a monumental effort involving thousands of volunteers who come together to restore Biscayne Bay, one of South Florida’s most precious natural resources. This is Baynanza’s 31st anniversary. Volunteers will work in the Pelican Harbor Marina, picking up trash and doing general cleanup. All volunteers are required to wear comfortable closed-toed shoes and clothing they’re willing to get dirty. Transportation and t-shirts will be provided!

This event will be the last service event offered by CCSI for the spring semester.
