Title:
Family Violence Prevention and Services Discretionary Grants: Culturally Specific Trauma Services for Families Impacted by Domestic Violence

Deadline:
August 12, 2013

Synopsis:
The program will build and expand upon the progress of culturally-specific and community-based domestic violence programs in reducing the pervasive and harmful impact of violence and trauma by implementing culturally relevant trauma-informed, evidence-informed, or evidence-based interventions for individuals and families who are from diverse and historically marginalized communities.

Funding:
Award ceiling is $400,000.

Title:
Public Health Law Research

Deadline:

Synopsis:
The foundation seeks studies that investigate specific mechanisms through which a new legal intervention or an existing law or enforcement strategy impacts physical or mental health.

Funding:
Award ceiling is $150,000 for an 18-month period.

Title:
Domestic and Sexual Assault Training Programs

Deadline:
July 19, 2013

Synopsis:
The foundation will fund the development of, and assist in launching, a comprehensive series of targeted prevention and intervention training tools to help bystanders recognize, respond and make appropriate referrals in situations when partner abuse, dating abuse, or sexual assault are suspected or observed. Barry University can apply as training specialists with partners that are subject experts.

Funding:
Award ceiling is $125,000.
