As you know we currently are in the process of conducting a search for a new Provost as well as a Dean for the Adrian Dominican School of Education and a Dean for the School of Podiatric Medicine. We had anticipated that we would have appointed a Provost in time for her/him to participate in the selection of the new deans. Unfortunately, this has not been possible. As the chief academic officer, it is very important for the new Provost to be directly involved in the selection of the new deans who are critical members of his/her academic administrative team.
To that end, I am very pleased to announce that Dr. Jill Farrell has agreed to serve as the Interim Dean of the Adrian Dominican School of Education for the 2015- 2016 academic year.
Additionally, Dr. Albert Armstrong has agreed to continue serving as the Interim Dean for the School of Podiatric Medicine through the upcoming academic year.
Please join me in offering both congratulations and gratitude to Dr. Farrell and Dr. Armstrong for their willingness to serve their respective schools and the University in these academic leadership roles.
