As part of the Community Nursing Learning experience, Barry University nursing students joined the commemorative ceremony at the city of North Miami in observance of the 14th anniversary of 9/11.
“I felt it was a great way to show our patriotism to those whose lives had been lost, while honoring those who still place themselves in danger daily for our protection,” said Dr. Mureen Shaw, assistant professor of nursing.
Student joined city officials, fire and police personnel, as well as many other community members in honoring those who lost their lives and pay tribute to those who give so much daily to preserve our way of life.
